Can Amoxicillin be used with Cyklokapron and Mefenamic Acid? My Doctor's given me Amoxicillin for a chest infection I've had recently, and I have to take Mefenamic Acid and Cyklokapron at monthly intervals. I didn't have chance to ask her whether I could use them together, as I was unaware that I'd have to use them together until today, could there be side-effects or can they be used safely in conjunction?
I checked with a site used by pharmacists to determine if there is a drug interaction between any of those medications. As far as I can tell, you shouldn't have a problem. Just to play it safe, check with the pharmacist anyway. Pharmacists know way more about drugs than doctors.after all, that's what they go to school for!
Where to buy Cyklokapron tablets from Greece, Athens.?
The lowest price for quality medicine: Cyklokapron without a prescription
Is Cyklokapron a form of Hepatitis C treatment?
The drug Cyklokapron is used for the treatment of Hemophilia C that is uncontrollable bleeding - an hereditary condition where the blood does not clot.hemophilia.ca/en/bleeding-disorders/other-factor-deficiencies/factor-xi-deficiency--hemophilia-c/If you have Hepatitis C I would consult your local GP. Good Luck!
what is the tablet Cyklokapron 500mg used for.? Is it for sleeping, antibiotic or depresion.
Tranexamic acid. It helps prevent bleeding. It's often used during bloody surgeries to stop patients from bleeding out too much.Edit: And Helen's right about its use in preventing menstrual bleeding.
Neither, it's used to reduce menstrual blood flow (ie. for women with heavy, painful periods). It works!Edit: I'd better be right darl, I use it! (in conjunction with Ponstan) - although it doesn't prevent bleeding, if only. There are side-effects but it's better than the alternative. It's no fun being a girl sometimes, I tells yer.Edit 2: "Doctor", the name is spelt absolutely correctly. That's what it says on my prescription anyway.
You can find everything you ever wanted to know about that drug, and other medicines, at rxlist.com But first you have to spell the name right to find it.
I am taking cyklokapron tablet is pregnancy possible? I have been on cyklokapron for months now for heavy contiuous bleeding and I have went off them 9 days ago so I can get an IUD put in and still no period, before if I skipped even 2 pills I would start my period. Could I be pregnant?
Cyklokapron--I need some information/helppp!? I started my period the other day, however I am getting surgery soon and when I went to my doctor today for a final checkup before surgery he gave me a prescription for Cyklokapron to clear up my period for surgery? I googled it and it says for heavy bleeding, but mine isn't quite heavy yet. So I was just wondering how does it work? and when I start taking it how long will it take to start working? Also can I take Tylenol while on it?
Honestly, dear. A doctor could answer your question far more accurately than Yahoo Answers, don'tyou believe that would be best?
can anyone help me, been put on cyklokapron 9 weeks after a cesarean? i had a cesarean 9 weeks ago. i was bleeding until 3 weeks ago it went browny yellow for 2 days the came back. i has had it ever since then. doctor put me on cyklokapron and said to see him after easter, i asked him what was going on with me and all he said was it's a cesarean thing. he said it would stop bleeding he was sure of it, the thing is i havent yet. i would really like to hear from anyone who knows what is going on, i am worried i ain't getting any of the facts and i cant find anyone with them.
"Cyklokapron Tablets and Injection are indicated in patients with hemophilia for short term use (two to eight days) to reduce or prevent hemorrhage and reduce the need for replacement therapy during and following tooth extraction."Sounds like doctor suspects your platelets are low and this is why you haven't clotted up and is still bleeding. I would be a bit concerned if he assumed this and hadn't done a blood test to confirm this before writing a script for that medication. Bleeding to long can indicate that the uterus is not contracting properly, possibly infection.really any number of things. I was never told extended lochia bleeding as being a possible side effect of a c-section. I had one 5 months ago and the bleeding had completely ended by 7 weeks. Consider challenging your doctor on this and ask him to do testing to back up his diagnosis. Also insist on him explaining his diagnosis instead of just giving pills and an assurance that this will cure the problem if you don't even know what the actual problem is.
