In treating amebiasis which medicine is good -metronidazole or tinidazole?
Place your order: buy Tinidazole without a prescription
Amebiasis is an infection of the intestine, liver, or other tissues by pathogenic amebas (protozoan parasites), typically by the organism Entamoeba histolytica, acquired by ingesting food or water contaminated by infected faeces. Transmission generally occurs through ingestion of cysts from food or water contaminated by faeces. All household members should have their stools examined because person to person transmission can occur. The choice of drug depends on the type of clinical presentation and the site of drug action (in the intestinal wall versus inside the intestine itself). Drugs may include metronidazole, paromomycin, iodoquinol, or diloxanide furoate. Tinidazole - Generic Name – Tinidazole; Brand Name – Tindamax - is also used for the treatment of intestinal amebiasis and amebic liver abscess caused by E. histolytica. These drugs have side effects and careful note should be taken of the manufacturer’s and your doctor’s instructions with reference to this matter.Hope this helpsmatador 89 metronidazole is most common drug of choice BUT i still suggest see your doctor for proper management.
It depends on the body mechanism of a person. A certain drug may be good for me, but it may not work for you. Follow your doctor's advice. Self-medication of these medicines will cause drug tolerance in your body. Which may lead to higher dosage next time when you needed it.
Do the following.take secnidazole-500mg BD for 14 days .then paromomycin 500mg tid for the next 7 days.
I have side effects after taking tinidazole? I had very bad stomach pain and mucous in stool and the doctor gave me tinidazole to take for 3 days, now i feel so sick after taking it nauseous, vomiting and mettalic taste in the mouth and coudnt eat anything.is it normal?the doctor said the medicine have these kind of side effect.i am so worried.this is my second day of the dose.i feel so sick
Call the doctor and tell him you can't handle the side effects and you want something else! The doctor tells you what the side effects are so if you get them you will do something about it!
why tinidazole and norfloxacin more soluble in HCL than NaOH?
They both have ionizable groups, in acidboth have amine groups which can gain a proton to make the ammoniuim ion - soluble in aq mediain base norfloxacin has a organic acid group RCO2H which can loose a proton to make the salt and an R2NH secondary amine, which can also loose a proton however, it has three groups ionisable in acid and only two in base, so whilst it is soluble in both, its solubility is greater in acid.
i've tried medications like Tinidazole for the treatment of Amebiasis but unfortunatly till it didn't work. Till i was taking medication things was going well and i had no complaint regarding my digestion but as soon as tinidazole finished my problem of poor digestion started again.
This is something your going to have to work out with your doctor. Maybe the anti-biotic wasn't strong enough, or you didn't take it right or long enough. Your diet could be the cause. See your doctor for this. Go to WebMd.com for a complete answer.
Conaz: Norfloxacin & Tinidazole-- safe if I am allergive to Penicillin? Hi, I am in Egypt right now so I am trying to get a few opinions besides that of my doctors. I was prescribed Conaz: Norfloxacin & Tinidazole and was wondering if I can take it. I am SEVERALY allergic to Penicillin and Ceclor (and basically anything related to them). Is it safe. I am going to get in contact with my physician back home but I just wanted to get a heads up since it will be another few hours due to the time changes.

how do i get metronidazole and tinidazole?
Tinidazole For Gardia Lamblia? They Gave my friend That For a gardia because the first medicine he took Mabendazole or w.e didnt work Will he cure him hes got alot of malsorbation and how long will he take to get better?Wrong Again Drug of Choice is Tinadazole. Memdazole isnt even approved by the fda therefor ive looked for cure rates for both medications. and tinadazole had the higher cure rate! and you dont always have to have diarrea to have gardia and he has a chronic infection. thank you thankyou and gooddday
Metronidazole is usually the drug of choice for treating giardiasis. Tinidazole is an alternative, the prognosis is usually good, although both failure of treatment and re-infection can occur so if Mebendazole isn't having much affect, your friend should see his GP. Make sure he keeps hydrated.EditIn the UK Metronidazole IS the drug of choice for treating Giardiasis. "Mabendazole" is a completely different drug. Mebendazole, quinacrine and chloroquine have been used successfully in trials in developing countries. Nitazoxanide is a newish drug..
I'm glad someone finally did research to check out the info given was true. As you can see, no one is perfect and evidently whatever source was used was incorrect too. Are you aware that most people with Gardia Lambilia are not helped after the first course of medication, and that it's common to need a second course of antibiotics, either with the same medication, or a different one decided case by case? Please have this person discuss this with their doctor. Between the 2 of them, a cure should be discussed and all questions written down, asked and answered while still in the office. Allot of doctors tend to be dismissal in attitude. If this is true about this particular one, maybe your friend should consider changing. Doctors are people with a higher education in health and sometimes get a higher opinion of themselves. Being human we can't be perfect and the same can hold true of anyone too. Still, the doctor is the person for these questions and answers. I can only give you a website some professional health care workers like to use so you can do some research in this area too.
